The Varkpo Senior High School Old Students Association (VASOSA) has announced its 2026 Homecoming celebration, inviting former students and members of the Varkpo Senior High School community to return, reconnect and contribute to the school's continued growth.

The five-day event is scheduled to take place from November 11 to November 15, 2026, under the theme: “Return, Reconnect and Rebuild: Honouring Our Past, Strengthening Our Alma Mater, Inspiring Tomorrow.”

The homecoming is expected to bring together old students, distinguished personalities, traditional stakeholders and members of the wider school community to celebrate their shared history and strengthen their connection with their alma mater.

Distinguished Personalities to Feature at the Homecoming

The programme will feature several distinguished personalities, including Brigadier General Franklyn Worlanyo Agbebo, who will serve as Chairman of the occasion.

Other personalities highlighted on the official event announcement include Hon. Joycelyn Quarshie, Member of Parliament for North Dayi, and Hon. Ernest Adevor, District Chief Executive for North Dayi.

Rev. Dr. Nyieko Avotri has been named as the keynote speaker, while DOP Francis Selorm Hagbe, President of VASOSA, will serve as host.

Their participation is expected to add significance to the celebration, which seeks to bring together different generations of former students and stakeholders.

A Call to Return, Reconnect and Rebuild

Beyond the celebration, the theme of the 2026 Homecoming reflects the association's commitment to preserving the school's legacy while encouraging members to play an active role in shaping its future.

The initiative provides an opportunity for former students to renew old friendships, strengthen alumni relationships and reflect on the importance of giving back to the institution that contributed to their educational and personal development.

VASOSA has extended a special invitation to its members and the wider Varkpo Senior High School community to be part of the five-day celebration.

With the November dates approaching, old students are being encouraged to make arrangements to participate in what promises to be an important reunion for the VASOSA family.

Are you a VASOSA member or a proud VASEC alumnus? The invitation is open. November 11–15, 2026, is the time to return, reconnect and rebuild.
